- Title: A Case Study Multi-Language Simulation Platform for Embedded Systems: Alternative Image Analysis Algorithms for Perspective Correction
- Description: The purpose of this thesis is twofold; (i) to develop a simulation tool which
uses different programming and modeling languages and (ii) to investigate al-
ternative image analysis algorithms for perspective correction. The simulation
tool developed shows that it is possible to combine different programming and
modeling languages by using a middleware. Support for four languages has been
achieved; Matlab, Modelica, C++ and C.
The algorithm for perspective correction is based on RANSAC (RANdom
SAmple Consensus). Decode of position coordinates has been accomplished
with this method. The decode success rate is still 10% -25% lower than with
current algorithms but ideas are presented how this could be enhanced. Estima-
tions show that there is chance for improvement of time complexity compared
to current methods.
