Teaching 2008/09

My teaching objectives are to introduce the student to the theoretical foundation of the numerical methods used in scientific computing and to bring those methods to practical use, by letting the student build a basic experience with the necessary software, the interpretation of its output, as well as the basic problems in applied mathematics.
