Organisation

An essential part of this practical course are weekly homeworks, which are mainly computer based.
All seven homeworks are mandatory. The homework should be done in groups by four students. It will be commented, but not graded.

Getting started

You will need MATLAB or Python/Scipy to make your homework.
MATLAB can be downloaded here.
You will find some help for the installation on our python page. You will also find there some material and links on python for scientific computing.
Before you start with the homework, please fill out the list with your data.
This list will also be used for generating a mailing list.

How to hand-in

Groups should provide their report with a cover page.
You can hand-in your results either in printed form or electronically. For printed hand-ins use the box in the basement of the mathematics center in the right wing of the corridor behind Café Hilbert.
