You may download my lecture notes from the Schedule page. Take notice that they work only as a complement to the textbook.
Tuesday at 11:45 we will hand back your graded projects. You will have the opportunity to learn from the correction and also to pose questions regarding your grade. You will hand back the project because I need to keep them in case your final grade needs to be revised.
Once they have been graded, you can get your grades for each project and for the theory exam at http://www.maths.lth.se/na/courses/FMN011/examres/
The second project has been uploaded. The deadline is Monday, May 14, 2012 at 17:00 hrs. Read the detailed instructions on the project file and on the webpage.

My apologies for a mistake in the text of the project. On Task 9, instead of Construct the right hand side vector so that the solution to the perturbed system is still x = [1; 1; . . . ; 1]T . it should have said Perturb the right hand side vector. The solution to the perturbed system will no longer be x = [1; 1; . . . ; 1]T .
The reason for this is that you want your systems to have different (but close) solutions, and not the same exact one.
You can modify this with minimal change in your code. Nevertheless, if you have already written your report and do not wish to make the change, you are allowed to present your results without this change.
Sincere thanks to Bartosz Malman who brought this to my attention.
The project has been uploaded. The deadline is Thursday, April 19, 2012 at noon. Read the detailed instructions on the project file and on the webpage.
