Installation description of WAFO Toolbox Version 2.0.5, 14-Jun-2003
        
 Wave Analysis for Fatigue and Oceanography Toolbox
 --------------------------------------------------

 Unix Instructions:  
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 
 1. Binary download the archive wafo-2.0.5.tar.gz
    (and if desired the precompiled fortran programs
    wafo2.0.5_sol2.tar.gz and/or wafo-2.0.5_alpha.tar.gz)
 
 2. Uncompress the archive(s) by 'gunzip wafo-2.0.5*.gz'.
 
 3. Change directory to the place you want the WAFO directory to reside.
   
 4. 'tar xf wafo-2.0.5.tar'
    ('tar xf wafo-2.0.5_sol2.tar' and/or 'tar xf wafo-2.0.5_alpha.tar')
 
 5. Edit the file startup.m and give a path to the WAFO toolbox. 

 6. Start Matlab and type 'initwafo' at the Matlab prompt. Try 'help wafo'.
 
 PC Instructions:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 1. Binary download the file wafo-2.0.5.zip to your PC. You will be asked
    for the destination/directory of the compressed file. 
    (and if desired the precompiled fortran programs wafo-2.0.5_pcwin.zip)
 
 2. Uncompress the zip-file(s) to the place you want the WAFO directory
    to reside, by means of any software EnZIP or WinZip.

 3. Edit the file startup.m and give a path to the WAFO toolbox. 
 
 4. Start Matlab and type 'initwafo' at the matlab prompt. Try 'help wafo'.
