1. A course on "Constrained Statistical Inference in Parametric Models" will be given. The course is planned to run in three days in October 20-22 with the following schedule in each day:
   • 11.00 am - 12.00 noon : Lecture 1 of the day.
   • 12.00 - 1.00 pm : Lunch
   • 1.00 pm - 2.00 pm : Lecture 2 for the day
   • 2.00 - 3.00 pm : Break
   • 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm : Lecture 3 for the day
   • 4.00 pm - 5.00 pm : A discussion session.

   The course will be held in MH:229 which is located in the second floor of Centre for Mathematical Sciences; see here for more information on how to find the centre.

   For more information on the course see the course plan. Lecture notes will be handed out to the participants at the start of the course. The lectures will be based on a book with the same title by Silvapulle and Sen (2005) published by J. Wiley. Two copies of this book will also be available as reference in our library during the course.
