I finished my PhD thesis in May of 2008. The thesis was supervised by Ulla Holst with Finn Lindgren as cosupervisor.

Having spent 10 weeks working with Eric Gilleland at NCAR during the fall of 2008, I'm now spending the spring semester of 2009 as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington.

Teaching

I have no teaching during the spring semester of 2009.

Research interests

My main research interest is the use of Gaussian Markov Random Fields applied to environmental data. This is work partly in collaboration with Finn Lindgren, HÅvard Rue, at Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet in Trondheim, and Lars Eklundh at the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystems Analysis.
