Titel: Some research problems in environmental statistics

Abstract:

The area of environmental statistics is very rich in problems (and
somewhat more sparse in solutions). Some of the major research
questions addressed by researchers at the NRCSE, and some of our ideas
for solutions, are presented. Assessment of deterministic models,
environmental report cards, climate change, sampling techniques,
visualization of uncertainty, and stochastic space-time model issues
are among the areas in which statistical problems are generated.
