Anna Persson present her master's thesis Time frequency analysis of children's EEG responses when observing social behavior Abstract EEG data from a study, with the goal to find the neural correlates of small children when observing different social behavior, has been analyzed in this thesis. The methods that have been implemented, tested and used for the analysis are time frequency analysis with different single and multiple window estimators. The results show a significant difference between the EEG responses of the different types of stimuli. Also, the results suggest that a further investigation of the EEG power at lower frequencies than had earlier been considered interesting, could give new information about the EEG responses of young children to this type of stimuli.
