# Delta

Delta is the sensitivity of a price to changes in the value of underlying asset.
It is obtained by differentiating the price with respect to the underlying.
Delta will equal the number of stocks in a delta hedging portfolio. In the FX-derivative market prices are usually quoted in deltas and not in an amount of money.
In general sensitivity derivatives w.r.t. different parameters are called "Greeks".
