Enter
M-x S+5 to start S-Plus version 5. Emacs will then
ask you for your S Starting Directory - enter your directory where
you've run Splus CHAPTER. You'll need to create a new
chapter first with Splus CHAPTER at the system prompt if you
are starting a new project. If you want to keep notes of your
S-Plus work enter name of a transcript file in the next
question, otherwise just press Return.
To start S-Plus version 3.4 enter M-x
S+3. In this case you only need to have a .Data
subdirectory under the directory where you start S-Plus.
