Professor in Mathematics/Applied Mathematic

Since May 2011, I am appointed at a position of the
Professor in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics  (Full Professor) and  subject representative Professor at
Mälardalen University located in the Swedish town of Västerås (about 100 km from Stockholm).

As a Swedish Professor, I am expected now to act across the boundaries between universities on national level.

As a result of my appointment as Professor in Mälardalen University,
the Noncommutative geometry and applications research group which I created and continue lead in Lund since 2001

expanded significantly and has now its home base in two universities

Mälardalen University (Applied Mathematics part) and
Lund university (Non-commutative geometry, non-commutative analysis and applications part).

This creates excellent foundation for cooperation  in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics between Mälardalen University and Lund University.

I am looking forward to expanding this cooperation between Mälardalen University and Lund University in my new status as Professor.  

Thus please contact me as soon as you have some ideas or suggestions of such cooperation and joint projects on all levels of
education, PhD students traing and research.
