- Professor at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Lund University, 2006-present.
- Visiting Research Fellow at the University of California, San Diego, with David Kriegman's research group, USA, 2004-2005.
- Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Australian National University, RSISE, Canberra, Australia, 2003-2004.
- Founder of Cognimatics AB together with Rikard Berthilsson and Kalle Åström.
- PhD in Mathematics at Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden, 1997-2001.
- I was a visiting researcher at the Movi group,
 , Grenoble, France for three months in autumn 1998.
- M Sc in Computer Science and Engineering at Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden, 1991-1995.

As a part of my M Sc, I spent one year at
in Toulouse, France, 1994-1995.
- I did my master's thesis at Innovativ Vision Image Systems AB, in Linköping, Sweden. I continued
to work there till the end of 1996.
