Introduction.
Unix is a flexible and powerful operating system implemented in different flavors and runs on several platforms (Suns,Dec,PC's...). If you are a beginner,you might find Unix to be extremely unfriendly and complex. This is true until you acquire a minimum knowledge of its tools and commands. These pages are designed to be an introductory guide to our Unix system. We expect all our users to browse these pages regularly to keep informed on the latest changes.
